Laura Uribe

Laura. Uribe, 26, of Grandview, WA passed into her new world on Friday, May 24, 2024, in a tragic accident in Ellensburg, WA.

She was born November 7, 1997, in Prosser, WA, the daughter of Jose M. Uribe and Isidra. Suarez

Laura graduated from Grandview High School in 2016 and was currently attending Yakima valley college and was looking forward to graduating in Business administration 2025.  She enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and loved playing/babysitting her nieces & nephews. She was their world and another mother to them. Laura also enjoyed hanging out with her cousins. She was a member of Grandview Blessed sacrament church. She will truly be very missed by all.

She has left us outwardly, but inwardly, she is with us and always will be. Her family was her rock from which she drew, and shared her love and strength, nothing was purer than her innocent smile that was seen from thousands of miles away.

Laura is survived by parents: Jose M. Uribe and Isidra. Suarez, brothers and sisters: Adriana. Uribe, Stephanie. Uribe, Jose Manuel. Uribe, and Ricardo. Uribe.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Grandview, WA.  Burial will follow at the Grandview Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Laura's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
