Leonard Diaz

On Sunday March 29, 2020, Our Dear Lord called Leonard Diaz, 50 to meet his parents, his brother, grandparents and other family members in Heaven.
Leonard was born on March 20, 1970 in Prosser, WA to Vicente and Mary Diaz of Mabton. Leonard received his education in Mabton and graduated from Mabton High School in 1988. He married Serina Lopez on July 11, 1989 but later divorced on June 04, 1999. Together they had two wonderful children, Valerie Marie and Nicholas Vincent. Leonard held various job positions throughout the Yakima Valley. He traveled to Arkansas to spend time with his Sister and Brother before returning to his home back in Grandview. His recent employment was with DRR Fruit Products as a maintenance mechanic.
Leonard was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, and had a passion for fishing and hunting. He passed the time away by cooking and spending time with his siblings whenever he could. He enjoyed helping others with his handyman skills and walking in the park whenever he could.
Leonard was preceded in death by his father Vicente Diaz, his mother Mary T. Diaz, his brother Santiago Dominguez, his grandparents, various Aunts and Uncles. He is survived by his children Valerie Marie Diaz of Mabton and Nicholas Vincent Diaz of Benton City. His grandchildren Aden, Jaxon, Brielle, Alexzander Vincent and Donevin Jay. His siblings Mike Sr. (Julia) Dominguez of Mabton, Rose Mary (Tino) Ibarra of Mabton, Janie (Joe) Capetillo of Hope AK, Patsy (Johnny) Reser of Grandview, Tony Dominguez, Sr of Grandview, Esther (Alfonso) Fraga of Grandview, John (Brenda) Dominguez of Grandview, Rick (Sonya) Dominguez of Toppenish, Mona (Andrew) Zavala of Grandview, Ronnie (Gilbert) Orosco of Grandview, and Emilio (Deena) Diaz of Zillah. He is also survived by the Love of his Life Veronica Martinez and her two children Vanessa Victoria and Malissa Amber Thompson all of Grandview.
