Leonel Urbina Jr.

June 30, 1975 ~ December 22, 2021 (age 46)

Obituary

Leonel Urbina Jr., 46, passed away surrounded by his family on December 22. 2021. Leo was a lifelong Prosser resident and it is where he received his education. He was born June 30, 1975 to Leonel and Pola Urbina. Leo enjoyed both Tejano and country music and loved dancing to those addictive beats. He also held an affinity for football, professional wrestling and movies. Most notably, he was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and you always found him representing the gold and black every football Sunday. Weekends were his favorite days of the week. They allowed him to spend time with his family and friends, be it barbequing, dancing or simply hanging out. Leo was a kind hearted, giving and generous man. He was nonjudgmental and accepted people for who they were. He would check on his family and friends on a weekly basis making sure they were alright. He lived by the motto “You only live once so live it up!” and that’s exactly what he did. With a tremendous sense of humor, he loved joking around with his family and friends. His smile was infectious. A man of faith, Leo would light up his Prayer Candle daily and pray.

Leo is survived by his mother, Pola Urbina, siblings Juan Urbina (Stacy), Alicia Champion, Teresa Hinojosa (J.J.) and Yolanda Ward. Nieces, Olivia Trejo, Kaeri Ward, Nephews, Nathan Hinojosa, Brandon Hinojosa and Jewlian Ward.  Leo is proceeded in death by his father Leonel Urbina, brother-in-law Norman Ward, nephews Juan Hinojosa Jr. and Daniel J. Hinojosa.

We will miss you Little Brother, RIP, you are forever in our hearts.
