Mae Thomas

Ella Mae Thomas, age 93, passed away Wednesday, November 5,2025 in Olympia, WA  Mae was born on October 20, 1932 the daughter of Charles and Prudie (Rogers) Owens in Sunnyside, WA.  She received her education in Sunnyside, WA.  On August 20, 1949 Mae married Reese E. Thomas in Sunnyside, WA.  In 1971 Mae and Reese moved to Olympia, WA and opened a NAPA  Auto Parts Store.  In 1989 they retired due to ill health. Mae enjoyed three hobbies: Ceramics, Needlepoint and Crafts.  Mae is survived by older sister, Hazel Abel, Son, Douglas (Gini), Two grandchildren David (Kathleen) and Renee, plus Great Grandson, Corbin. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Dave and Bobby and daughter, Diane.   Burial will be in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.   Those wishing to sign Mae's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com     Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
