Maria Avalos

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Maria Alvarez Avalos went to be in the arms of her loving Savior on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.  Maria was born on September 17, 1946 in Jalisco, Mexico the daughter of Refugia (Vargas) and Isaac Alvarez.  On April 1965 she married Juan Avalos in Tamazula, Jalisco, Mexico.  Maria working career was her family, devoted to caring, cleaning, cooking and nurturing (loving) as only a mother can do. In her spare time she loved gardening, tending to her flowers and raising chickens.  She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Grandview, WA.  

Maria is survived by her children Ramon, Avalos, Jesus Avalos, Juana Avalos, Salvador Avalos, Bertha Tacza, Ruben Avalos and Antonio Avalos.  She is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one sister Angelita Cortes.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Avalos, one brother and eight sisters.
