Maria S Isiordia

Maria Socorro Isiordia Garcia passed away on October 2nd, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Granger, WA. Her final days were spent surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and sisters.

Maria Socorro, also known as Choco, was born on January 27th, 1950 in Xalisco, Nayarit, Mexico to Jesus Garcia and Alejandra Samaniego.

She is survived by her husband Vicente, whom she was married to for over 50 years; daughters Maria Concepcion and Azucena; sons Eduardo, Luis, Juan and Alberto; 28 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alejandra.

She lived a life of devotion to her husband and children whom she loved with all her heart. She was widely known as a kind, hardworking person with a strong faith in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed gardening, trying new foods and spending time with her family.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Resurrection Catholic Church in Zillah, WA. Burial will follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Park in Sunnyside, Washington.  Those wishing to sign Maria’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com.

Sus últimos días los pasó rodeada de su esposo, hijos, nietos y hermanas.

María Socorro, también conocida como Chocó, nació el 27 de enero de 1950 en Xalisco, Nayarit, México hija de Jesus García y Alejandra Samaniego.

Le sobreviven su esposo Vicente, con quien estuvo casada durante más de 50 años; hijas María Concepción y Azucena; hijos Eduardo, Luis, Juan y Alberto; 28 nietos; y 10 bisnietos. Le precedió en la muerte su hija, Alejandra.

Vivió una vida con devoción a su esposo e hijos a quienes amaba con todo su corazón. Ella era ampliamente conocida como una persona amable y trabajadora con una fuerte fe en nuestro Señor y salvador Jesucristo. Disfrutaba la jardinería, probar nuevas comidas y pasar tiempo con su familia.

Se realizará una visita el domingo 6 de octubre de 2019 de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. con la Recitación del Santo Rosario a las 6:00 p.m. en la funeraria Smith en Sunnyside, WA. La misa de entierro cristiano se llevará a cabo el lunes 7 de octubre de 2019 a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Resurrección en Zillah, WA. El sepulto se llevará a cabo en el Lower Valley Memorial Park en Sunnyside, Washington.
