Maria R. Villanueva, age 70 of Granger, Washington passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. She was born on May 31, 1951 to parents Helidoro Ramirez Larios and Elvira Lopez Muñiz in Colima, Mexico.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Villanueva and husband Miguel Torrez Jr., Jessica Villanueva, Luna Villanueva, and Nicholas Villanueva; brothers, Elias Ramirez Lopez, Javier Ramirez and wife Emma Gonzalez Ramirez; and a total of 14 grandchildren. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Helidoro Ramirez Larios and Elvira Ramirez Muñiz; husband, Reyes Santoy Villanueva; sisters, Aurelia Rodriguez, Catalina Ramirez: brother, Ricardo Ramirez.

Viewing and Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Granger, WA. with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.
