Our sweet Michelle Marie McKayla Rodriguez, 23, passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2019 in Seattle, WA at Harborview Medical center after battling an aggressive brain tumor. Michelle was born August 15, 1995 in Richland, WA to Gary Rodriguez and Irma Meza Rodríguez. She enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and loved spending time outdoors. She graduated Umatilla High School in 2014. She was blessed with two wonderful children Axel Juels Trujillo (7) and Luna Azul Trujillo(4) who she loved dearly. She was pursuing a career at an Amazon data center and dreamed of becoming a CEO. Michelle loved life and always had a smile on her face and knew how to bring laughter to any situation. She enjoyed hiking, camping, cars, collecting makeup, and watching Marvel movies with her friends and family. She was a strong, young caring woman that exuded confidence. She had a loving and giving heart and was a great role model to her children Axel and Luna. Her babies were her whole life and they benefitted from her loving heart. Michelle is survived by her children Axel and Luna, her parents Gary and Irma along with her siblings Ryan, Briana, and Maya. She is preceded in death by her grandma Maria Del Refugio Rodriguez 1999, grandma Venancia Meza in 2007, grandfather Benigno Rodriguez 2016, great aunt Alejandra Rodriguez in 2017. Viewing and Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser, WA. with burial to follow at East Prosser Cemetery in Prosser, WA.
