Miguel A. Garcia

Miguel “Mike” Adolfo Garcia, age 65 of Sunnyside, WA, passed away on Monday September 6,2021, surrounded by his kids & loving family, in Sunnyside, WA. Mike was born on August, 5th 1956, in Prosser, WA, to Raul F. & Juanita H. Garcia. He received his education in Sunnyside, WA and graduated with the class of 1975.

Mike worked for various warehouses in the lower Yakima valley he last worked for River Valley Fruit, LLC formally Conrad & Adams. He was a Forklift Operator for over 35 years. He was finally able to retire & enjoy his time with his family. Mike was taken from all of us too soon due to Covid-19. Some of his last words were “I’m going to beat this and I will be back I’m the “Terminator”…

Mike was such a loving, caring man. He enjoyed fishing, making lures, spending time with his children, grandchildren & family. You could always find him with a cup of coffee from Maverick. Mike was also a life long pool player.

Mike is survived by his children, Son, Mark (Diana) Garcia, Daughters, Vickie Lee Garcia (James). Christina Garcia, Son, Michael Garcia & Daughter (his little princess) Allyssandra Hernandez. Grandchildren, Steve, Nathan, Matthew, Liam, Jay, Angelique, Jasper, Samus & two Great-Grandchildren on the way. Former wife Michelle Hernandez. Brothers, Raul F. (Dianne) Garcia. Rogelio Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Mario (Elvira) Garcia, Ray (Caroline) Garcia, Sister’s Diane (Juan) Uribe, Linda (Rick) Banda, Brothers, Jose A. Garcia (Trini), Martin (Kim) Garcia. Numerous nieces & nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts & friends.

Mike is proceeded in death by his parents, Raul & Juanita Garcia. Grandchild Bobby Ray Garcia. Niece Gabriela C. Garcia. Nephew Elijah Hernandez.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.  at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Burial will follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.   Those wishing to sign Mike’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com ...  Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
