Milani Sofia Martinez

Milani Sofia Martinez, beloved daughter of Nathan Xavier Martinez and Marissa Sofia Loera, passed away on May 13, 2026. We are heartbroken. Milani was born into this world on March 1st, inspiring love and joy in all who were privileged to hold her and look into her beautiful eyes.
Milani was deeply loved and will be forever remembered by her parents, Nathan and Marissa; her maternal grandmother, Maria Loera; and her paternal grandparents, Adrian and Francisca Martinez. Milani is survived by her paternal great-grandparents, Fernando and Virginia Madrigal, and her paternal great-grandmother, Maria Isabel Martinez. She is also survived by her aunt and uncles: Daniel Valle, Alex Valle, Gabriel Valle, Nesiah Martinez, Nikkoh Martinez, and Navaey Martinez. Milani was born into and blessed by a large and loving family who will forever remember her sweet smile.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at noon at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA. Interment will follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
Milani—you were here for a moment but left a lifetime of love and footprints in our hearts. We hold on to our faith that we will be together again in the presence of the Lord. Until then, Oh Virgin Mary, embrace and care for our sweet Milani and let perpetual light shine upon her.
