Nadine McConnell

Nadine McConnell went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 20, 2022 after suffering a stroke. She was born June 6, 1933 in Modesto California to Kester and Valla Padgham. Nadine graduated from Sunnyside High School and attended Whitworth College. Nadine married the love of her life Ralph McConnell on November 7, 1953. They made their home in Sunnyside and bought Coast to Coast Hardware then converted it to Ace Hardware at the Eastway Shopping Center. They retired in 1997 and started traveling the country in their RV. Nadine was very active at Grace Brethren Church, teaching Sunday School and singing in the Choir.

Nadine is survived by her children Marcia Hanna (Alford) of Ignacio, CO., Patrick McConnell of Bothel, WA., Carleen Febus (Rocky) of Sunnyside, WA., seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Darlene Wilcox of Tacoma, WA. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph McConnell.

A special thank you to the Coffee ladies, Nadine loved her Mocha Frappé and the visiting.  A Memorial service will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Grace Brethren Church in Sunnyside, WA.
