Naley Francis Jackson
January 2, 1933 ~ December 14, 2023 (age 90) 90 Years Old
In loving memory of Naley Jackson (née Blaak), born in 1933 during the Great Depression in California and peacefully departed surrounded by the love of her family. Naley, the eldest of eight siblings, moved to Washington state in 1940, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched. A dedicated and hardworking soul, Naley embraced various roles throughout her life – from toiling on the family farm to nurturing her own five children: Arthur, Ardis, Anthony, Arlene, and Alan. Her legacy extends through the generations, as she is survived by cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her heart. Naley was cared for lovingly by Sabrina Jackson, in Sabrina’s home in Grandview for her last months, where she could be visited by her family from far and wide. That love was evident especially in the last few weeks of life.
Naley's commitment to education shone brightly during her tenure as a paraeducator in the North Shore School District in Redmond, Washington. Her nurturing spirit and genuine care touched the lives of many students. Passionate about collecting mementos from her travels abroad, Naley adorned her home with the treasures that told the story of a life well-lived. A meticulous clock restorer, she filled her surroundings with the rhythmic heartbeat of time, reflecting her appreciation for craftsmanship. In her selfless journey, Naley dedicated her time to others – caring for siblings in her youth, raising her children, and later tending to a beloved crew of dogs, mainly charming chihuahuas. Under her care, these furry companions lived royally, a testament to her boundless love. As we bid farewell to Naley Jackson, let us remember her enduring spirit, her unwavering dedication to family, and the countless lives she touched with kindness. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration during this time of loss.
