Nathaniel James Lochner was born on April 23, 1980 in Sunnyside, WA and passed away in his home in Wapato, WA on September 13, 2024 at the age of 44. Nathan attended grade school in Sunnyside and Cheney. His secondary education was in Sunnyside prior to passing the general educational development (GED) exam.
Nathan had a number of jobs early in his career that included roofing and breaking horses. Nathan’s roofing skills led him to start his own business, No Leaks Roofing. No Leaks being his initials.
Nathan was the proud father of three beautiful girls. Being with them or talking about them always created a sweet smile on his face.
Nathan’s passions included woodworking with his chainsaws, fishing, and guns. He could transform old discarded wood into beautiful pieces of art, a talent he discovered over 13 years ago when he started whittling. He could catch a fish when nobody around was even getting a nibble. His early passion for firearms included hunting. His accuracy was amazing, but he turned his focus to targets and varmints saying that he couldn’t kill big game any longer.
Nathan loved animals, especially dogs and horses. He had a wonderful knack for working and playing with them. With family and friends, he was generous beyond means. He would help someone however he could.
Nathan is survived by his parents Cindy Alaniz and Jim Lochner; his daughters Storm, Daisy, and Millie; his grandmothers Glenda Morgan and Ella Mae Lochner; his brothers Seth (Amanda), Tanner, and Nicholas; his sisters Amy (David), Jordon, Skylee, Tess (Justin), and Samantha (Kyle); his uncle Tyler (Jamie) and Kenny (Betty); his aunts Terri and Sandra; his cousins John (Alma), Timmy (Vanessa), Ashley, Matthew, and Elissa (Roberto). Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfathers Jim Morgan and Theron Lochner and his aunt Kim Lemos.
