In Loving Memory of Oscar M. Hernandez March 20, 1956 – December 22, 2025 We announce the passing of Oscar M. Hernandez, a loving husband, devoted father, cherished brother and grandfather whose strength, guidance, and unconditional love shaped the lives of all who knew him. He was a man of integrity, quiet wisdom, and unwavering devotion to his family. Oscar was born on March 20, 1956, in the Bronx, New York, and later grew up in Chino, California, where he built lifelong friendships and memories. He graduated from Chino High School in 1974, a place that would forever change his life, as it was there he met his beautiful wife, Rita. Their love story began as young sweethearts and grew into a lifelong partnership rooted in love, respect, and commitment. As a father, Oscar led by example, teaching the value of hard work, honesty, and perseverance. He was a steady presence, always ready with encouragement, support, or a listening ear. His love was constant, and his pride in his family was immeasurable. Oscar also enjoyed his many years of coaching youth football, where he had a resounding and lasting effect on the youth of the community. He believed in mentorship, discipline, and encouraging young people to believe in themselves—lessons that extended far beyond the field. In his quieter moments, he found great joy working on his Grand Master Deluxe vintage car, a passion that reflected his patience, craftsmanship, and appreciation for classic detail. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Oscar had a deep love for his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, which were a big part of his life. Riding brought him a sense of freedom, peace, and connection, and those who knew him best will forever remember his big beard and the pride he took in his bikes and the joy they brought him. Oscar was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Hernandez; his mother, Mary Mann; his stepmother, Laura Hernandez; and his brother-in-law, Richard Connell He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Hernandez; his children, Oscar (Miranda) Hernandez Jr., Ralph Hernandez, and Jessica (Mario Jr) Saldana; his sisters, Millie Connell and Laura Hernandez; his cherished grandchildren, Zane, Mario, Mia, R.J.,Jordan, Marqus, and Juliana; as well as his beloved niece and nephew, Kara and Ian Connell, all of whom he loved dearly.
