Bobby “Bob” Gene Unruh was born in Greensburg, KS to Frank and Pauline Unruh. He was taught about God’s love from an early age. After High School graduation he attended Northwest College which is now Northwest University. There he met the love of his life, Shirley Graves. Bob worked for Pepsicola after graduating from college. His love for Jesus lead him to became a Pastor and ministered in Packwood, Buckley, Toppenish, and then Bremerton all in Washington. He went on to become Mens Ministries Director at the district office of the Assembly of God churches. This lead him to travel to several countries. As Director, he worked with the boys club Royal Rangers for which he was very passionate.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, daughters Carol (Jeff) Kinsey, Carla (Keith) Pasculli, and son Robert (Colleen) Unruh. He has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Bob loved Jesus with all his heart and lived his life accordingly.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday May 19, 2022 at Neighborhood Assembly of God Church in Sunnyside, WA followed by the Graveside Service at the Outlook Cemetery.
