Paul S Brown passed away on April 12th, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Natural Dam, Arkansas to Henry and May Brown on March 15th 1932. He served in the Naval Intelligence in the United States Navy from 1953 to 1957. He was awarded the American Spirit honor for outstanding leadership, best expressing the American Spirit honor, initiative, loyalty and high example to comrades and arms. He was " the one," out of his entire unit of 300,000 men to receive this honor. His career was at the Hanford Nuclear Plant. Where he was a member of the international Union Operating Engineers as a Crane Operator.
His passions were fishing, hunting, sports and watching westerns. He didn't know a stranger: he was a loved Man by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Mae Brown, Siblings; Henry Brown Jr, William (Bill) Brown, Harold Brown, Ann Jackson, Linda Joyce Peil, and Lorraine Blaine. Sons and daughters; Paul Brown Jr, Biff Brown, Cheryl McGovern, and Edie Newhouse. Previous wife Donna Brown. He was survived by his wife Velma Brown, siblings; Susan Garretson, Carol Waller, and Boyd Brown, his sons and daughters Lorna Brown, Sandra Hewitt, Bea Rossmeisl, R.J. Rossmeil, Tom Newhouse, and Brad Hewitt. Grandchildren; Leah Pinter, Alex Rossmeisl, Jaden Rossmeisl, Ryan Rossmeisl, Logan Rossmeisl, Jordyn Rossmeisl, McKenzie Rossmeisl and Derek Newhouse. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA.
