Pauline Orso Obituary

Jeanette Orso passed away on January 28, 2018 in Shoreline, WA. She was born in Roslyn WA on April 1, 1932 to William and Kate Fera.

After graduating from Cle Elum High School in 1950 she moved to Seattle and attended Columbus Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated from in 1953. Jeanette worked for Group Health until she met her future husband Robert Orso and married him in 1960. They moved to Grandview WA and had two daughters Rebecca and Susan. While raising a family she also worked as a registered nurse for Prosser Memorial Hospital until she retired in 1992. After retiring she then worked part time for the Farm Workers Clinic in Grandview WA until 2003. Upon Robert’s death in 2006 Jeanette moved to Ellensburg WA where she was an active member and volunteer for Hospice, Ellensburg Presbyterian Church, The American Red Cross, Sons of Italy, Heritage Club, and TOPS.

Jeanette is survived by her two daughters Rebecca Myer (Jeff) and Susan Pawlicki (Peter), her brother William Fera (Susan), her sister-in-law Rose Andreotti, four grandchildren Katie Lockett (Justin), Emily Kirkland, Michael Kirkland, and Robert Pawlicki, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Orso and her parents William and Kate Fera.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for Jeanette at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Roslyn Presbyterian Church. If desired memorial gifts can be made to your local Hospice.
