Peggy Ann Rosal
December 31, 1953 – December 20, 2021
On December 20, 2021, at the age of sixty-seven, Peggy Ann Rosal got her heavenly wings and went to sit with the angels at the feet of Jesus. She bravely fought back against cancer for seven years – she never stopped fighting, always endured, and never gave up hope. Through her quiet, humble, strength, we now know what resilience and perseverance truly look like, because there was no quit in Peggy.
A loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, friend and host, Peggy was a remarkable cook and baker. Her home was always open and welcomed anyone at any hour, on any day. Peggy also loved to crochet, sew, paint, shop, travel, visit, play board games and share a cup of coffee or tea together. Her heart and mind were always focused on putting a smile on the faces of her loved ones. She did that often, and it usually came with a free lesson on grace, kindness, generosity, and empathy. Her love language was long, warm hugs, holding your hand, and embracing your cheeks as she looked in your eyes and said, “I love you.” Peggy always let you know that you mattered in her life and in this earthly world. She was a star in the eyes of all who knew her and will truly be missed in the lives of all those she touched.
Peggy is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 38 years of marriage, Paulo Rosal; their combined six children Andrew (Kristina) Sidwell of Round Rock, TX; Michael (Crystal) Rosal of Prosser, WA; Julie Edwards of Prosser, WA; Katie (Damion) Buchanan of Vallejo, CA; David (Jennylynn) Rosal of W. Bountiful, UT; Gina (Edward) Duarte of Kennewick, WA; and a cascade of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by her warmhearted and close-knit siblings Renee Mattos (Joe Adan) of El Cajon, CA; Elaine Belle of Spokane, WA; Kathy (Mark) McIntire of Sunnyside, WA; John (Debbie) Albee of Richland, WA; Larry (Sharon) Fischer of Cincinnati, OH; and Terry Fischer of Medford, OR.
Peggy was preceded in death by her precious Mother, Edith B. Fischer Albee, Father Orville Ray Albee, and brothers Richard Ray Albee and Dennis Fischer.
