Ramiro Suarez Garza
4/28/1940 - 11/6/2020
On November 6th, 2020, Ramiro Suarez Garza fell asleep and woke up in the arms of the Lord due to complications of cancer. He was born in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on 4/28/1940.
He married Julia Campos Garza on February 26, 1960. They raised 7 children in Prosser, WA. He was a migrant worker who worked in agriculture; picking various fruits, and in irrigation as well.
He worked in agriculture to make sure his family had all they needed. He spent many weekends fishing, first with his children, then continued with his grandchildren. He served the Lord most of his life and was an active member of Templo Calvario, in Sunnyside, for more than 20 years. He later started attending Principe de Paz Church in Grandview for about 5 years.
He is preceded in death by Julia Campos Garza (wife), Inez and Eusebia Garza (parents), Apolinar Garza (brother).
He is survived by his children Ester Gonzalez (Alfredo), Ludi Gonzalez (Salvador), Inez Garza (Amalia), Ner Garza (Alice), David Garza (Rachel), Maurillio Garza (Meegan) and Anna Murphy (Wayne). He is also survived by Olivia Gomez (sister) Simon Garza (brother) Elva Loera (sister) and Blas Garza (brother). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Viewing and Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with services to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA. Burial will follow at the East Prosser Cemetery, Prosser, WA.
