Randolph Joseph “Randy” Charvet age 59, passed away Saturday November 9th 2024 in Grandview, Wa. Randy was born June 23, 1965 to Martin and Donna (Moore) Charvet. Randy is a Grandview alumni graduating in 1983. Randy furthered his education in Arizona in the automotive industry. Randy then married his high school sweetheart Teresa Stice July 16, 1988 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA. Randy worked as a journeyman carpenter for over thirty-five years, while operating the family farm. Once retired, Randy continued his love-hate relationship for farming by expanding his concord acreage and starting CNC Farms.
In the little bit of down time Randy allowed, he enjoyed growing beans, photographing nature, lighting up the sky every July 4th and listening to rock and roll. Randy was an avid sage rat, spider and badger hunter extraordinaire. Most weekends and Summers were spent with his children enjoying Sunday breakfast that turned into Sunday supper- 3 pm sharp.
Randy cherished his four granddaughters, Aub, Emmy, Cheech and Abby. Tough love and noggin rubs were exchanged in abundance.
Randy is survived by his wife Teresa Charvet of Prosser, WA. His son Zach Charvet (Hannah) of Richland, WA. His daughters; Kendra Shinn (Kollin), their daughters Emily Shinn, and Abigail Shinn of the Satus, along with Nicole Charvet (Jr. Garcia) and their children Aubrey Charvet, Delainey Garcia-Charvet, Jaiden, Zanderr, and Bella Garcia of Grandview, Wa.
Randy is preceded in death by his brother Jefferey Charvet, mother Donna Charvet, brother Douglas Charvet, and father Martin Franklin Charvet.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA. Mass of Catholic Burial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
