Richard Justin Muñoz, age 36, of Prosser, Washington, passed away on April 22, 2025. Born and raised in Prosser, Richie brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone he met. He was known for his quick wit, his unforgettable sense of humor, and a smile that could light up any room.
Richie is deeply loved and survived by his father, Victorio, and his siblings: Raquel, Victor, Maricela, Jacob, Jose, Lucy, Anthony, Michael, and Jeremiah. "Tio Richie" was a proud and devoted uncle to his many nieces and nephews, cheering them on from the sidelines and always showing up with love and support.
He is now reunited in eternal peace with his beloved mother and best friend, Antonia, his baby sister Monica, his grandmother Maria, and his great aunt Guadalupe.
Richie’s vibrant spirit, kind heart, and joyful presence touched many lives and will be missed more than words can say.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Grandview, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Prosser, WA. Burial will follow at the East Prosser Cemetery.
