Robert Radach Obituary

Robert “Bob” Radach, age 85, of Sunnyside, WA went to be in the arms of his loving Savior on Sunday, June 3, 2018.  Bob was born in Mott, N.D. the son of Matilda (Huether) and John Radach.  He graduated from Sunnyside High School with the Class of 1950 and began his employment with Marathon in Sunnyside, WA.  In 1951 Bob enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1955, serving his country for four years.  After his military discharge Bob returned to work at Marathon in Sunnyside, WA until 1962 when he went to work at Hanford.  He worked for the Washington Public Power Supply System for twenty-five years as a power operator and retired in 1994.     Bob enjoyed camping, fishing and going to reunions.  He was a member of the  Sunnyside V.F.W and  Calvary Lutheran Church. 

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Ella Mae Radach of Sunnyside, WA.  Children Cheryle Radach, Walter Radach, Sandra Holland (Mike) all of Sunnyside, WA.  Robert Radach of Tri-cities.  Four  grandchildren Nicholas and Gabriella Radach of the Tri-cities, Sydnee and Kevin Wilson and Alexis Holland all of Sunnyside. Six step-grandchild and fifteen step-great grandchildren.  One brother Fred Radach (Donna) of Prosser, WA.  He is preceded in death by his parents. John and Matilda Radach, three sisters Ruth, Helen and Irene,  two brothers Tom and Larry and two great step grandchildren.  

Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from  2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Funeral Service will be on Monday June 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Sunnyside, WA with burial and Military Honors to follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.    Those wishing to sign Bob’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside in care of arrangements.  Bob’s family would like to thank the Sunnyside Fire Department and the Emergency Room Staff at Sunnyside Astria Hospital for all the care and professionalism show to Bob and the Radach Family, we would also like to thank Smith Funeral Home.
