Roger Davis Obituary

Roger Thomas Davis, age 71 of Grandview, WA went in the arms of the Lord Friday, October 1, 2021. He was born on December 3, 1949 in Chehalis, WA. He graduated from Mossyrock High School class of 1968. He married his wife Polly Mae Davis of Prosser, WA on May 27, 1978 in Salkum, WA and has been married 43 years.

Roger worked at a sawmill in Morton, WA for over 12 years working his way up doing various jobs. He then worked at Holtzinger in Prosser, WA for over 12 years also working his way up. He then worked at Shonan in Grandview, WA for 12 years where he retired in 2012. In his spare time, Rogers hobbies and interests included Harleys, hot rods, and hunting. He was a devout father who always provided for his family. He was a gentle soul who was loved by all and will be missed dearly.

Roger is survived by his wife Polly Davis and children Jacob and Albania Davis of Pasco, Wa, Jeremy and Wendy Davis of West Richland, WA, John and Stacie Davis of Grandview, WA and Jody and Matthew Bishop of Grandview, WA. Also, his siblings Barb Mardock, Kevin Fish, Karen Fish, and Kimberly Rivera. Also, by his 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Roger is preceded in death by his father Oliver Davis, mother Dorothy Fish, sister Beverly Davis, and son James Davis.

Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Grandview Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Roger’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com    Smith Funeral Home is in care of  arrangements.
