Romana Garza age 70 of Grandview, WA, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Spokane, WA. Romana was born January 14, 1950 in Robstown, Texas the daughter of Donicio and Antonia (Hernandez) Garza. She received her early education in Robstown, Texas. Romana worked as a farm laborer and later was a gifted homemaker. Romana enjoyed sewing, gardening, wood working, cooking, hosting friends and making all who came in contact with her laugh. She also loved dancing, shopping at Wal-Mart (she was famous there), going on short trips with her family, making videos with her children and grandchildren and most of all spending time with and loving her grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles and VFW both of Grandview, WA.
Romana is survived by her children Arnold Garza (Laura) of San Antonio Texas, Vita Garza (Jose) of Prosser, WA, Rosa Garza (Robert) of Kennewick, WA, David Garza (Tina) of Kennewick, WA, Jessica Garza of Prosser,WA and significant other Jose Guizar. Grandchildren Josh Cabllero, Cassandra Cabellero, Karrisa Caballero, MaKayla Milne (Blake), Michael Garza, Joseph Rodriguez, Jerry Cervantes, Steven Garza, Trey Garza, Mia Cantu, Emily Cantu, Anthony Roman, Naveah Roman, Maria Roman, David Roman, Gavin Garza, Monique Garza, Marrissa Garza, Mariah Garza, Laura Garza and eighteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Fred Garcia and Lupe Vasquez and numerous nephews and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Donicio and Antonia Garcia, late husband Arnoldo Garza, daughter Adelina Garza, sister Rosa Arrellano, brothers Domingo Garcia and Pablo Garcia
Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 starting at 12:00 p.m. with funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA.
