Ronald Roehl Obituary

Ronald James Roehl, 81, went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 30, 2020 while working on his farm.  Ron was born on January 26, 1939 in New Leipzig, North Dakota the son of Rosalie (Wagner) and William Roehl.  Ron attended school at Sunnyside and Othello school districts. On October 30, 1987 he married Pamela Veals in Kennewick, WA. Throughout Ron’s working career he was a surveyor for the Bureau of Land Management, Diamond Driller and foreman on dam sites and owned his own plumbing business with his wife and sons.  Ron loved to farm and raise livestock. He enjoyed sand railing, and treasured all kinds of trucks and tractors. He loved his family. He prayed for them daily,  that they would accomplish their dreams and goals and protected throughout life by the Lord. He was a member of the Home Missionary Church in Sunnyside, WA and was a Pro Trump supporter. 

Ron is survived by his wife, Pamela Roehl of Benton City, WA. Step children, Jeremiah Green (Elizabeth) of Spokane, WA, Stacie Green (Steve) of Benton City, WA, Jennifer Hendricks (Aaron) of Richland, WA. Children Rick Roehl of Bozeman, MT, Raleigh Roehl of Ellensburg, WA, Rodney Roehl (Manuella) Mabton, WA, Brittany Turner (Mason) of Richland, WA, Becca Roehl of Benton City, WA.  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two brothers, Rueben Roehl, Dennis Roehl and sister Eileen Olsen. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Rosalie Roehl, son Reid Roehl, sisters Evelyn Thompsen, Verna Swearengin, Betty Zivello, brothers Ervin Roehl and Allen Roehl. 

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Burial will follow at the Zillah Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Ron’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com    Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
