Rose Marie Fleming

March 24, 1932 ~ February 12, 2026 (age 93) 93 Years Old

Rose Fleming Obituary

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Rose Marie Fleming age 93, went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 12, 2026 with family by her side.  Rose was born on March 24, 1932 in Sunnyside, WA the daughter of Leslie Vernon and Pearl Martha (Roscoe) Richards.  Rose received her education in Sunnyside, WA.   On June 25, 1948, she married Dean Tucker in Sunnyside, WA.  She and Dean worked together farming and later Owned and operated Tucker Cellars in Sunnyside for many years, where she was also the bookkeeper.   On November 14, 1999 Dean passed away.  Rose continued to make Sunnyside her home.   On February 9, 2004 she married John Fleming in Hawaii.  She and John enjoyed twenty years together before his passing on July 27, 2024. In her spare time Rose loved to garden, travel, and spend time with family.   Rose also enjoyed hosting many family events and parties.   She was a member of the Black Rock Creek Golf Club and member of the Ladies Nine Hole Club.  Rose also was a member of a garden club and bridge club. 

Rose is survived by four children, Randy Tucker (Debbie) of Grandview, WA, Mick Tucker (Becky) of Green Valley, AZ, John Tucker (Gaylene) of Kona, HI, and Deanna Tucker & (David Smasne) of Grandview, WA.  She is also survived by one brother Paul Richards (Pearl) of Pasco, WA and sister-in-law Nancy Richards from the Tri-Cities.  Fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Pearl Richards, 1st husband Dean Tucker, 2nd husband John Fleming, siblings Vernon, George, Bill, Doris, Mary, David, Silas and Ester. 

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside.  Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.   Those wishing to sign Rose’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home is in care of
