With deep sorrow and love, we remember Saige Elizabeth Shelton, a vibrant, creative, and tender soul who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 32.
Born on May 30, 1993, to Kenneth and Janet (Fisher) Shelton. Our beloved Saige lived life with a soul untamed and full of grace. She graduated from Benton City High School and attended Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology, where her natural talent for beauty and self-expression found a joyful outlet. Whether through makeup, hair, or art, she saw the world as a canvas-and she had a gift for bringing out the beauty in others.
She was a free spirit in the truest sense-drawn to the wild, the whimsical, and the meaningful. Her interests were as varied as they were heartfelt: she loved camping with her family where hunting for mushrooms and huckleberries were a must, collecting rocks, gardening, antiquing, 4-wheeling with family and friends and creating art that reflected her curious and soulful nature. She was the kind of person who could find treasure in an old piece of furniture, peace in a wildflower, and connection through a shared laugh.
Music was the heartbeat of Saige’s life. Going to shows of her favorite bands brought her great joy. She loved all kinds of music and always had a song to match the moment. Her playlists told her story, and she found deep comfort and joy in music.
A quiet woman of faith, Saige held tightly to the love of Christ and we know she is completely healed and with Jesus. Her life, though far too short, was rich in love for her family and friends and the experiences she made. She leaves behind memories that will be cherished and stories that will be shared for years to come.
She is survived by her loving parents, Kenneth and Janet, brother Wiley Shelton, his wife Christina, nephews Wylder and Wyatt, her boyfriend Justin Aguilar and many others who loved her deeply and will miss her beyond words.
A celebration of her life will be held August 16, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at the home of her parents: 49711 East Badger Rd, Benton City, WA. 99320. Saige would love a party so all who knew her are invited to gather in love, remembrance, and gratitude for the joy she brought into the world. Those wishing to sign Saige's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
