Salvador Bobadilla Frias Obituary

Salvador Bobadilla Frías, a hardworking and devoted father, passed away peacefully by his loved ones. Born in Barranca de Santa Clara, Jalisco, México, Salvador dedicated his life to labor and family.

Salvador is lovingly remembered by his wife, four children, and twelve grandchildren: María Bobadilla, Luisa Bobadilla, Azucena Bobadilla, Salvador Bobadilla Jr, and Samuel Bobadilla. In addition, he will survive through his brothers: Juan Bobadilla Frías, Claudio Bobadilla Frías, and his sister Elia Aguilar Bobadilla.

For the last few years of his life, Salvador peacefully resided in Barranca de Santa Clara, cherishing the tranquility and beauty of his birthplace. His memory will forever live in our hearts of his family and friends.

Salvador enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his childhood friends and grandkids. He was a proud maguey and tequila producer. One of his greatest joys that teared him up was listening to banda music. Dad, you will forever be in our hearts. Fly high Dad with your Mom Tea, your Dad Lupe, and your little brother Jose. 

Viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 13, 2026 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser, WA with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, WA. Salvador Bobadilla Frías, un padre trabajador y dedicado, falleció en paz rodeado de sus seres queridos. Nacido en Barranca de Santa Clara, Jalisco, México, Salvador dedicó su vida al trabajo y a su familia.

Salvador es recordado con amor por su esposa, cuatro hijos y doce nietos: María Bobadilla, Luisa Bobadilla, Azucena Bobadilla, Salvador Bobadilla Jr y Samuel Bobadilla. Además, seguirá viviendo a través de sus hermanos: Juan Bobadilla Frías, Claudio Bobadilla Frías, y su hermana Elia Aguilar Bobadilla.

Durante los últimos años de su vida, Salvador vivió  felizmente en Barranca de Santa Clara, disfrutando la tranquilidad y belleza de su tierra que lo vió nacer. Su memoria vivirá para siempre en los corazones de su familia y amigos.

Salvador disfrutaba jugar baraja, y pasar el tiempo con sus amigos de la infancia y sus nietos. Era un orgulloso productor de maguey y tequila. Una de sus mayores alegrías que lo emocionaba hasta las lágrimas era escuchar música de banda. Papá, siempre estarás en nuestros corazones. Vuela alto papá con tu mamá Tea, tu papá Lupe y tu hermano pequeño José. 

El velatorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 12 de febrero de 2026 de 16:00 a 20:00 h, con el rezo del Santo Rosario a las 18:00 h en la capilla de la Funeraria Smith en Grandview, Washington. La misa de entierro cristiano se celebrará el viernes 13 de febrero de 2026 a las 10:00 h en la Iglesia Católica del Sagrado Corazón en Prosser, Washington, y el entierro se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio Grandview, también en Grandview, Washington.
