Samuel “Sam” R. Morrow age 72 of Richland, WA passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Sam was born February 12, 1952 in Sunnyside, WA the son of Miller and Esther (Whittum) Morrow.
Sam received his education in Sunnyside, WA and graduated from Sunnyside High School with the class of 1971.
Artist, antiquarian, restaurateur, mechanic, cat lover, cattleman, prankster, salesman and carpenter. This list of achievements is by no means exhaustive, as Sam wore many hats, many simultaneously and several throughout his life.
He was the American Dream written in measures tragic, epic, triumphant: weathering life's unavoidable lows, but often bouncing back and riding hard won highs created through sheer willpower and vision.
It's incredibly sad he's gone, but we his family faithfully look forward to seeing him again.
Sam was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Debbie (Kresse), his parents, and brothers Dick, Denny and Jim. He is survived by sons Rocky and Mickey, daughter-in-law Kara (Lindstrom), grandchildren Tiffani and Trevor, brothers Tom (Terri), Mike (Cherie) and Barry (Toni) and sister Patty (Ron).
