Sharon was a woman with a vibrant personality and a loving heart. She loved her chocolate, especially York Peppermint patties, and the color purple. Sharon was a member of the Red Hat Club, and she adored her cat Otis. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Lutheran Church in Sunnyside, WA.
The last four years of her life she developed the most amazing relationships with some of her caregivers and nurses. Fourteen months prior to her passing, Sharon was recommended for Hospice care and not expected to live more than 2 months. The choice was made to place her in an Assisted Living facility on comfort care, so she would be able to have her cat Otis at her side. This choice and the outstanding care Sharon received during that time gave her another year. Thank you to the awesome caregivers for this incredible gift! You were her Angels, and she loved all of you.
