Obituary
Sheila Ann Leman passed away to join her heavenly family on August 7,2023. Sheila was born to Don Smith and Doris McKowen Smith on August 5, 1930, in South Bend, lndiana. The oldest of four girls and two boys, she grew up in the small town of Bremen, lndiana. While in high school, she met the love of her life, Richard (Dick) Leman. Married on February 18, 1949, they
went on to have six children of their own and spent 75 glorious years together. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Paula and Donna, brother Michael, her son Rick, and grandson Alex. Sheila is survived by a large family who will miss her dearly: her loving husband, five children, and 11 grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. As her legacy, we will lead with kindness, patience, and love in our efforts to always make her proud.
