Sherrie Ashley Obituary

Sherrie Lynn Ashley, aged 65, a devoted wife, mother, grama, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of deep love and cherished memories.

Born on November 17, 1960, in Spokane, WA. Sherrie graduated from Omak High School.

On April 16, 1988, she married the love of her life, Clyde Ashley. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with faith, family, and shared adventures.

For 38 years, Sherrie and Clyde were completely inseparable. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Lonnie, Venessa (and husband Kevin), Brandon, and Maigan (and husband Griffin). While Sherrie wore many titles, nothing gave her more life or greater joy than her grandchildren: Hyatt, Kloie, and Weston. She was their absolute biggest fan, and she spent countless happy hours traveling near and far to every single one of their events alongside Clyde, cheering them on from the bleachers with boundless pride.

Sherrie is survived by her siblings and their spouses: Blake and Colleen Osborn, Kelly Osborn, Cindy Faith, and Candy and Michael Brady, along with her beloved sisters-in-law, Tammi Osborn and Nancy Osborn. Her extended family was an incredibly important part of her life; she is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Allen Ashley, Dea (and wife Margaret) Ashley, and Bill Ashley, as well as her loving sisters-in-law, Alice, Ivory, Mary, and Pearl. Her memory will be deeply cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Gayle Osborn, and her dear grandmother, Madeline Preston. She was also welcomed into eternity by her beloved brothers, Carl Osborn and Douglas Osborn; her cherished parents-in-law, Versie and Lonnie Ashley; her grandmothers, Virginia Bauman and Susannah Soper; and Bonnie Osborn.

Sherrie’s immense warmth, fierce dedication to her family, and the joy she brought to every game and family gathering will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service will be held on June 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the East Prosser Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Sherrie’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith. A celebration of life honoring Sherrie will be announced and held at a later date.
