Obituary
“Shirley was a resident of Mabton for over 50 years. In that time, she owned and operated a successful 2nd hand store, the “Bargain Hut”, as well as a fireworks stand for many years. She was a homemaker, mother and the youngest of 10 children. Shirley loved to cook, do puzzles, and read and she had many furry felines as pets. Shirley also enjoyed crocheting and visiting the casino, where she made many friends.
Shirley is survived by her son, Larry and daughter-in-law, Jeannie of Mabton, sister Lois G. of Tri-Cities, Grand-daughters, Jennifer L. and Destinae B. of Kennewick and Prosser respectively. She also has several great-grandchildren that live locally and members of her late husband, Cecilio that reside in California. Shirley will be greatly missed by all.”
