Taylor Neal Morris Jr., affectionately known to family and friends as Neal, passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born on April 26, 1966, at Prosser Memorial Hospital in Prosser, Washington, to Betty and Taylor Morris.
Neal was raised in Prosser, where he developed a lifelong love for the outdoors and a strong work ethic that stayed with him throughout his life. He most recently worked as an auto mechanic and farmer, though over the years he held many different jobs. No matter what he was doing, he took pride in his work. If something was broken, Neal could fix it. He had a remarkable talent for repairing just about anything, and family and friends knew they could always count on him for a helping hand.
He found peace and happiness hiking, fishing, and working on cars. Whether he was repairing an engine, tending the land, or exploring the outdoors, Neal appreciated the simple things in life and found joy in working with his hands.
Neal is lovingly survived by his three children, Tanya Kauer, Sarah Carlson, and Anthony Morris; and his five cherished grandchildren, Ruthie, Amelia, Owen, Grayson, and Freya.
He is also survived by his siblings Linda, Elizabeth, Mary, Thelma, Fred, Gordy, Don, and Rodger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Taylor Morris, and his siblings Joyce, Bonnie, Jeff, and Kenneth.
Neal will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his willingness to help others, and the love he had for his family. The lessons he taught, the things he built and repaired, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A memorial service is not planned at this time; the family will share details at a later date.
Neal will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
