Teresa C. Miranda

Teresa C. Miranda, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.  Born December 6, 1944, in Mezquital, Durango, Mexico, Teresa embodied resilience and grace throughout her life.

Teresa immigrated to the United States, and with great pride, earned her U.S. citizenship, a milestone that symbolized her dedication and determination.  She found joy and purpose in her family, her faith, and the world around her.

She is survived by her three devoted sons: J. Alfredo "Fred" (Melissa) Ciriano, Luis "Memo" (Sabrina) Ciriano, and Robert (Pilar) Ciriano, as well as her cherished siblings: two sisters, Esperanza (Miguel) Moreno and Maria Elena Uribe, and three brothers, Pedro Ciriano Perez, Felipe (Ofelia) Ciriano, and Antonio (Ruth) Ciriano.  Teresa's loving spirit lives on through her grandchildren: Atara Young, Joaquin Ciriano, Jaime Mason, Serenity (Garrett) Guffey, Thalia Ciriano, and Cisco Ciriano, and her great-grandchildren, Graycen and Isla Guffey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Maria Ciriano; her brother, Jesus, who passed away in infancy; and her sister, Sylvia (Gonzalo) Galindo, with whom she shared a special closeness, and her husband, Antonio S. Miranda, Sr. 

Known for her kind and easygoing nature, Teresa's genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone she met.  She had a remarkable green thumb and found solace in tending to her plants, surrounding herself with nature's beauty.  Her deep faith and unwavering trust in God were a cornerstone of her life and a source of strength to those around her.

Teresa's warm smile, gentle spirit, and boundless love will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.  May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her Creator.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at  Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Grandview WA with burial to follow at the Grandview Cemetery.
