Teri Myers Obituary

Teri June Myers

Teri was born to Claude R. Myers and Wanda Bridger Myers on May 8,1956 in Prosser. For 24 years she worked as a hyster driver for companies like Twin City Foods, Columbia Crest Winery and Prosser Pack. Later on, she worked as a custodian for Sunnyside School District, from whence she retired approximately three years ago due to health issues.

In her freetime, she enjoyed making jewelry, knitting, baking and cooking, and in her younger years gardening. Teri was a wonderful aunt, taking many of her nieces and nephews (and young cousins) on trips to whale watch, to see the wolves in Idaho, to observe eagles nesting and of course to do lots of shopping. She was a very giving person and if she had it, she would offer anything she could.Teri loved being around her people, hanging out at potlucks and barbecues with family and friends.

Teri is survived by her siblings Roger Myers Sr. of Prosser, Kevin & Joann Myers of Korea, Pam & Hector Gomez of Sunnyside, Gloria & Bill Mandrel of Sunnyside. She is survived by eleven nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. She is also survived by many many good life-long friends that will deeply miss her. She is preceded in death by her mother Wanda Myers whom Teri called her best friend and her father Claude Myers.

Soar high with the angels, Teri. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
