Thomas Inions Obituary

Thomas Edward Inions, age 60, of Zillah, Washington, passed away peacefully at his home on February 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on January 27, 1965, in Grandview, Washington, to Jack and Venita Inions, Tom grew up embracing the joys of farm life, sharing memorable fishing and hunting adventures with friends. He was a proud member of the Grandview High School Greyhound class of '83, where he excelled in football and skiing at White Pass. His senior year was particularly notable, as he achieved a remarkable 3rd place finish in the state wrestling championship. Summers were spent creating cherished memories at the family cabin on Camano Island, the source of many of his best stories.

Tom was a loving father, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. He is survived by his siblings, Joe Inions (Linda) and Jannese Murbach (Jim); his former wife of 12 years, Linda; his children, Jennifer Wood (Aaron), Maegan, and Tommy Inions; three nieces; four nephews; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Venita Inions, and his brother, Jon Inions.

A passionate fisherman, Tom traveled to various states and countries in pursuit of his favorite pastime, reeling in extraordinary catches. Above all, he cherished spending time with his children, enthusiastically attending their sporting events and cheering them on. His professional achievements included successfully running his fruit brokerage business, “J.M.T.,” from 2005 to 2025, as well as cultivating his organic apple orchard, “Cougar Jacks.”

Known for his lighthearted and humorous nature, Tom loved to share laughter and good times with friends and family. Though he now walks with The Lord, his vivacious spirit and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
