Tracy Carr Obituary

Tracy L. Carr passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019, peacefully in his sleep at the age of 63. Tracy was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 8, 1956 to Duane and Lillian (Warren) Carr, the third youngest of four children. In the spring of 1958 the family relocated to Sunnyside, where Tracy received his education and participated in school sports.

From a young age Tracy had a love for the outdoors and sports, which led to a life full of softball, golf, fishing, camping and a lifelong love for the New York Yankees and the Greenbay Packers.  He had a dream to visit Yankee Stadium and he was fortunate to make that dream a reality when he traveled to New York with his good friend Brice.

Tracy married Lindy Perez in 1984, and they had two children.  He passed on his love of sports to his daughter Trina and his love of the outdoors and fishing to his son Logan.

On February 14, 2000, Tracy met and fell in love with Nancy Trevino and they married soon after.  Not only did he gain a life partner, he also gained two more children, Melissa Rodriguez and Joe Rodriguez.  Tracy shared his love of life, family, fishing and sports with Nancy and her children.

Tracy and Nancy have spent the last 18 years living in the Yakima area, where Tracy was employed by Baxter Construction, at Baxter he found more than just a job he found a family.

Tracy is survived by his wife Nancy, two brothers Del (Debra) Carr, Dana Carr and his sister Trudie Eberle, his children Trina (Baldemar) Cortez, Logan (Erika) Carr, Melissa Rodriquez, Joe Rodriguez and 13 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Duane and Lillian Carr.

To say that Tracy, our beloved husband, father and friend will be missed is an understatement; he was a great man, a great father and a great friend.
