It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Uriel Estrada Nino on June 25, 2026 at the age of 45.
Uriel was blessed with a large and loving family. He enjoyed spending time with everyone and telling them how much he loved them. He loved his 3 children and step-daughter, always making sure they were taken care of.
Uriel recently moved back to Washington to be closer to his dad and spend time with him. He spent every day spoiling his dad and telling him “I LOVE YOU DAD”.
Uriel is survived by his children Uriel Estrada Jr, David Estrada, Sierra Estrada and Step-Daughter Mariah Mclain as well as his 2 grandsons Houston and Odesses. His parents Samuel Estrada Nino and Step-Mom Maria Esthela Estrada, His mother Shirley Ann Whitby and Step-Father Miguel Ceja. Siblings Sam Fabian Estrada and his children Elizabeth, Ana and Karla, Samuel Estrada Nino and his children Jazmin, Sebastian and Andrew , Maria Noemi (Felix} Munoz and their children Susana, Ashley and Felix Emanuel, Rita A {Luis} Ortega and their children Jocelyn, Luis and Oliver, Noel Alexandro Estrada and Chelsee Pettibone, and Jacquelyn H Estrada and Devante Rogers and their fur baby Lola, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents Trinidad Estrada & Maria Nino and Maternal grandparents William Whitby and Marilyn Pudney as well as several aunts and uncles.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.
