Veronica Reed Obituary

Veronica “Reed” Orozco was surrounded by loved ones when she left to heaven on May 29, 2022. On July 20, 1979, Jose Orozco (father) and Delia Orozco (mother) gave birth to a beautiful daughter. Veronica created a great life in Zillah, Washington. Veronica was funny, kind, artistic, and had the biggest heart when it came to helping others.

Veronica gave birth to two beautiful children Tysen Reed (16) and Tidus Reed (12). Her entire world revolved around her two boys. She loved to organize every holiday and birthday event so special for the boys in order to capture their beautiful smile and creating an unforgettable memory in their hearts. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her boys. If you were in a room with Veronica she made sure to tell you of how proud she was of Tysen and Tidus from their academic and sports achievements to their fun summer activities.

Veronica started working for the Zillah School District (District) in 1999 as an Educational Staff Assistant. She worked for the Zillah Alternative Program, Zillah Middle School, and Hilton Elementary School serving students in Special Education; English Language Development Program; and Migrant Program. In 2017, she became a Migrant Program Recruiter/Home Visitor for the District. In 2019, she became the Special Education Department Head Secretary and has served in this position since.

Veronica is survived by her parents Jose and Delia Orozco, sister Virginia Hinojosa Orozco (Ryan Stonemetz), brother Jose Guadalupe Orozco Jr. (Kassi Orozco), brother Daniel Alexander Orozco (Norma Miranda), and 9 nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death by grandparents Pedro and Juanita Rojas, grandparents Virginia and Gaudencio Orozco, uncle Arnold Rojas, aunt Mary Sears, uncle Julio Orozco, uncle Salvador Orozco, and uncle Cristobal Orozco.
