Walter Wesley Schlosser passed away March 30, 2024. He was born March 14, 1951 to John “Jack” Schlosser and Alta “May” Butler in Sunnyside, WA.
Walt is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and May and his sister Carolyn Estabrook. He is survived by his wife, Guillermina Flores, one sister, Cleo Ludwig, two brothers, Dan and Don Schlosser, five children, Jeannie Garza, Terry and Wes Schlosser, Savanna Werrion, and Patty Hansford, and 14 grandchildren.
Having raised his children as a single man, Walt enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He enjoyed family barbecues, fishing for walleye and sturgeon, and camping.
Being a mechanic teacher in his younger years, he was always eager to teach others what he knew. You could count on him in to lend a helping hand whether it was working on a vehicle, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or a comforting hug. He was definitely one that would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
