Wanda Hurst, Cresswell, Ling , age 91, went to the Lord on Oct. 29, 2020. She was born August 21, 1929 in Flippin, Arkansas to Wayne Hurst and Ethel Marchant Hurst. She married Oral (Shorty) Cresswell, in 1946 and he passed away in 1963. They had five daughters. She later married Ray Ling and he had a daughter Kelly and son Steve Ling. Wanda worked for Snokist in Grandview, WA for 25 years and Western Farmers in Sunnyside for 10 years. She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church for 50 years and was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Wanda loved her family and friends very much and had a lot of fun dancing, walking, gardening, doing needlepoint and going to the ocean and the mountains. Her family and friends will miss her very much.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Smith (Craig) of Vancouver, WA, Shelly Wolkenhauer (Roy) of Las Vegas, NV, JoAnn Patton (Dan) of Stevenson, WA. Sister Jean Hurst Parnell, brothers Kelly Hurst and Leo Hurst. She was the oldest of 8 siblings. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Ethel Hurst, husbands Oral (Shorty) Cresswell and Ray Ling, two daughters Charlotte Cresswell and Teresa Cresswell, brothers RH (Perk) Hurst, Sherman Hurst, Bob Hurst, sisters, Lola Hurst Pratt and Sharon Hurst. and grandson Jason Patton.
