Wanda (Winnie) Winona Smith Cox

November 15, 1934 – December 29, 2020

Winnie passed away peacefully to be with her Savior on December 29, 2020.

Winnie was born November 15, 1934 in Carthage, Missouri to James and Vela Smith. She moved to Washington in 1975 and made her home in Prosser. She was a homemaker.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bud Smith, brother-in law Roy Newland.

She is survived by her children Jon Cox (Rhonda) of Prosser WA, Theresa O’Neil (Patrick) of Kennewick WA, grandchildren Jon Cox Jr (Dani) of Kennewick, Toby Cox (Karri) of Prosser, Michelle Carpino of Sunnyside, numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, sister Leoma Newland of Olympia WA, sister-in law Barbara Smith of Loxahatchee FL, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and numerous great nieces and nephews.

At Mom’s request, services will be private.

Thank you, Jennifer and Carla from Hospice for the care you gave Mom and her family.

Thank you, Sun Terrace for taking care of our Mother, extra thanks to Linda and Sonia.
