What a beautiful obituary for a beautiful lady. Coleen was just about the nicest person I ever had the pleasure to know. She was a part of Sunnyside's Class of 1960 who "adopted" my late husband Boyd and I years ago. Tom was in Boyd's class. They were such a neat couple. I just saw them in September at Coleen''s reunion. It is a very sad time for all their families and friends. There are deep holes in my heart and I know many others feel the same. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Take care always.

What a beautiful picture of Coleen! That brilliant smile always reflected her happy heart; it was genuine. My condolences to Tom, Cassie, and Lori...my prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. My mind has been flooded with memories of our close friendship...walking to school together, long talks, slumber parties, double dating...and then becoming sisters for real when Tom & Bonnie were married. I cherish those memories. I look forward to a glorious reunion ahead some day, Coleen, rest in peace...your courageous journey is over. See you at the House!

So sorry to hear this sad news!! Colleen was such a bright star in our class - so vital and always with that great smile and beautiful red hair! She was always so involved that one just never imagined she would leave us. ( I ran into her at Safeway many years ago and we both recognized each other and had a big hug!) I feel like talking to you face-to-face, and so I will for your are present, not far away. You will be attending your family members as they continue their courses through this life. You will be their cheerleader and counselor and protector as the Lord will allow in all times and in all places.
