May God and the caring love and thoughts from others help you to get through your sorrow. What a wonderful friend John has become to me in the four plus years I have known him. I have been blessed to have shared this time with him and my life is richer because of him.

To all the family...our hearts go out to you at this time of sadness...Uncle John (and Lois) were always so good to us...opening their home in Grandview for family get-togethers and feasts of fine food prepared by Lois. I have many good memories of our Vaale-Hunting/Ruffin holidays spent together. John was so thoughtful always sending personalized birthday and anniversary cards to Ed and I. I'm so thankful we had our last Thanksgiving holiday with him, Mike & Anita, Dan & Charlotte, and Casey and her family. Always a fun time together.
Thank you Jesus for a life well lived.

So thankful for John's life and his encouragement to me as a teenager! He and Lois would open their home and hearts to me and offer a listening ear and some much needed wisdom. Thankful that John is home in Heaven now!

Absent from the body, present with the Lord. We sorrow, but not as others who have no hope. We have many encouraging memories of John from years ago at First Baptist Church in Grandview. Our parents were encouraged over the years to see John growing in the Lord.
