Dan, it has been over two years. My memories of both you and Joy remain fresh. As I said when you informed me of her passing, you were to love of her life as were her many horses, dogs etc. Despite the nature of our relationship, she is missed. Praying for your continued strength and peace.

I grew up with Joy in Bickleton. Her mother was my piano teacher (and my mothers teacher as well!). She always had a smile and she loved her horses. Sorry to hear of her passing. RIP Joy.

I first met Joy when she started as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney here in Goldendale, and ever since then Joy has been a friend. Joy had a passion for horses and dogs that needed a home. Joy was a proud wife, mom and grandmother. Dan, I want you to know that you were the love of her life, and we all know she was yours. Joy's smile, jokes and her stories will be missed. There is not a day I go to work and wait for her to walk through the door to share a smile to brighten our day. We have all lost a great friend, mentor and attorney. Dan, you are in our prayers daily and remember we're here for you and if you need help with anything to please let us know.

I have known Joy for probably 20 years, I'm guessing more. She was the stepmom to my friend & she was a lawyer, side by side with my stepmom. Joy was a truly wonderful person, compassionate & kind. She was a great lawyer. I was (and still am) so sad to hear of her passing. She will be greatly missed by many. My condolences to her husband, Casey & Brenda, and the rest of Joy's family & friends.

Dan and family I am extremely sorry for your loss, Joy will be greatly missed by all. Many years ago when I first meant Joy she gave me some wonderful words of wisdom which helped me through a horrific time and trial, her words at the time gave me strength I needed.
