I have such fond memories of Nancee. She was 8 years older than I was and she made me feel as if we that there was no age difference. She was so much fun to be around.
All of us kids just loved going to Gramma's and she always entertained us with her antics and laughter.
I remember when she said she had a boyfriend and he was getting out of the service and she was getting married and going to live in California. None of us knew where California was and what we were going to do without her. She was a gem and will be greatly missed.

Nancee was such a sweetheart. We looked forward to all of our visits to Battle Creek and she was very welcoming, truly happy to see all the Gaffney's. Nancee gifted Cindy and I with a ceramic turkey for our wedding which goes out on the buffet every Thanksgiving. Some of her cups are on display at our cottage on the bay, and will always bring us a smile. We are fortunate to have had her in the family. She will be remembered with a warm heart.
