There are so many great things to say about Pat. Such an energetic, positive, and selfless man. I couldn't thank him enough (and his family) for organizing Motocross races through 4 decades. Without the time and effort he put in I don't know what I would have done with my weekends for so many years. Or what I would have daydreamed about during the week. He gave us a place to go to be who we wanted to be and make the friends and create the stories that are our lives. He announced football games and was so involved in everything. I recently went through the cycle news archives and found all the articles and stories he wrote from Mabton races in the 70's and 80's. On top of it all an incredible example of how to be a family man. "The Squisher 417"

I will never forget you Patrick. We had many good times together including trips with the Reno Gaming Society, Mabton Football games and football playoffs. You were a friend that looked past all of the warts and emphasized the good points of a person. You didn't care that I did not carry my load when we had conversations. You knew that I would add my two cents worth when the time came. Ana and I will think about you forever! We love you and will never forget you. I know that there is much more that I could say, but at this time, I am again at a loss of words.

Pat and family,
Karen, you are the best. The way you spoke about Pat, the way you treated him, and the way you supported him during his most challenging portion of his life expressed depth of love and commitment seldom found.
The parenting you and Pat devoted to your children had such a distinct level of joy and creative learning, it's no surprise they are both so successful and stable. They are and will continue the influence.
Pat, I know you enjoyed your memorial. It was a great representation of so many aspects of your life. The laughter, the grandparent playfulness, the calm teaching moments, and the numerous family times together filled your spirit.
Jaclyn and Tyler, you honor your father each day you continue his positive lessons provided from his unconditional fatherly love. Accept your greatness.
For all these truths I respect each of you.

Pat, I will always remember the basketball games when you played on our faculty team as we challenged other organizations. Man I could not, to save me, keep up with you running up and down the court and forget about discussing trying to jump as high as you do.

Thank you for the many enjoyable meals in your home. Thank you for our conversations where it seemed you had just waited to talk with me. Thank you for the lawn mower you convinced me to purchase. Thank you for demonstrating how ageing is mandatory and growing up is optional. Thanks for the consistent banter about topics we had in common.
Peacefulness for your spirit my friend. We can take out the dirt bikes when I see you in the future.
Remembering you beyond today.

To Pat's family, Pat was a great man, a gentleman, who always encouraged me in my racing from the 90's...to helping me pick my kids helmets out this summer. We will pray for you during this time. And for all the mxers, squisher racing lives on!

When I think of Pat, I remember all the lunches he had with Tyler and Jaclyn during their second grade years. He would stop by at lunch time almost once a week. The whole class appreciated his visits because his loving and generous spirit touched everyone including me. I am hugging his family in my thought and prayers!!

Karen. Sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Didn't really know him very well but he did help me when at Prosser. I worked with his dad Dick when he worked for R. E. Powell. Again sorry for your family's loss.

Because of you, Pat, I will be riding one of the many motorcycles you inspired me to buy this Tuesday to honor your life. Your faith in God, your love for your family and friends and of course those two wheeled riding machines is more than most others experience in 60 years. God has called you home and made provisions for the rest of us who wait to see you again. May God richly bless your family for all that you have done in His name for all of us. You persevered when most would have given up. I will be thinking of you as the cold air penetrates our clothes as we ride in your honor. You never knew a cold ride, just a good ride. Love ya buddy, see you on the other side.

Pat was a warm and charming individual, full of humor and joy for life. Always he seemed to be looking for ways to live life to the fullest. I only knew Pat for a short time but learned to have a love for his endearing qualities. He was also the reason I was able to be a part of the Desert Valley Powersports Team. Pat I know that your are in a better place and that your deeds and kindness are now paying off in a big way.May your new life as spirit be more joyful than you ever thought possible.
May the Blessings Be,
Your Friends Gary Simpson, Regina Coronado

Pat was a fixture of the motocross scene when I was a boy growing up on the tracks of Renegade Raceway, Mabton, Kiona-Benton and Sunny-Gran. I will remember him for his kindness and the way he treated me. His encouragement was endless, his enthusiasm contagious. As a skinny kid, all I wanted was to be as fast as David Lapierre and Billy Jones - Pat made me believe that was possible. He was always there with a kind word and a pat on the back. Thank you, Pat, for the impact you had on my life.

Pat sold me my 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa. I had always loved this bike and or relationship started the minute he picked up the phone. Over the years we spoke often everyti.e i was in the shop. We talked alot about his family and how proud and extremely humble of a man. This was a kind and genuine soul. I was honored to know him. He will always be apart of my motorcycle life and memories and I am sure, many others as well.

Mourn not, grieve not, rejoice in those that become one with the living force and return their physical being back to the universe from which it came....RIP Pat.
