From the Varela family, to the Maganas family, we extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beautiful mother, Ramona.
My mother and father knew your mother and father well, and in reading the story of your Ramona's life, I was struck at how our parent's lives paralleled--both having lived in Colorado and Brownsville, at perhaps even the same time frames...and then both families having settled in the small town of Grandview.
I give Thanks for life of your mother and father, and offer sweet Blessings to you all as you continue in life, in their honor.
Sincerely,
Cindi Varela, and on behalf of my father and mother, Albert & Tina Varela

I went to school with her daughter Ramona and I would like to send my condolence and prayers to her. I know we only went to school for a few years together, but I always thought of you as a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. The most precious thing between us is Cory and his children. God bless you and your family.

My sincere condolences and prayers to my cousins and their extended families, so sorry for your loss. My Tia Ramona lived a wonderful blessed life, she was a beautiful loving person who always had a hug and kiss for us.. She and my tio Alonzo opened their home to us when we moved from Texas to Grandview, and for that I will always be grateful. Thank you Tia for sharing your life stories and giving us your love. I will always have you in my heart. Rest in peace, love Martha.

A Rescuing Hug - Having recently moved to my home state of Washington. It was an intimidating and insecure time for me. My parents were no longer here and so many changes. I was often questioning myself, "Did I make the right decision in coming back to Washington state after so many years?" I went to visit my Tia Ramona and the first thing she did was give me a hug. I started to feel better for she welcomed me back. It felt great, she rescued me, with "the rescue hug." God wants us to bring hope, healing, love and victory to one another through our actions and words. May they all be kind and loving as my Tia Ramona demonstrated to me. "Tia, you will be missed." Amen.
