Hap and Kathryne Smith founded Oris E. Smith Funeral Homes, Ltd in 1951. Together they worked in the business and were dedicated to their profession. They retired in 1987 and sold the business to their son Greg and his wife Carolyn, who own it today. It continues to be a family-owned and operated business at the same locations, 528 S. 8th Street, Sunnyside, WA. and 512 E. 4th Street, Grandview, WA.
